Welcome to Rwanda! Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport in Rwanda and after finalising the formalities, our friendly guide will be there to welcome you and drive you to your hotel.
After breakfast, choose to either drive or take a private charter flight from Kigali to Nyungwe Forest National Park, the largest remaining tract of montane forest in Africa and a biodiversity hotspot. With 86 mammal species, 280 species of birds, and some 100 orchid varieties, it's a significant conservation area. Once settled, experience a canopy walk, spotting birds like the Rwenzori turaco and black-and-white-casqued hornbill, along with large troops of colobus monkeys.
After breakfast you will go chimp trekking in Nyungwe Forest. The national park is renowned for its primates with 13 species recorded in this lush rainforest. This includes man’s closest living relative, the chimpanzee, as well as the delightful L’Hoest’s monkey and numerous fun-loving troops of black-and-white colobus.
Choose to drive or take a private charter flight from Nyungwe to Akagera National Park, where you will explore the park's diverse landscapes, including rolling plains, broad-leafed forests, and acacia woods, during an afternoon game drive, spotting giraffes, buffalos, elephants, crocodiles, hippos, spotted hyenas, and various bird species if time allows.

You will choose to have the afternoon at leisure or explore the town of Ruhengeri.
After an early breakfast, drive to Ruhengeri for the highlight of your trip: a visit to the mountain gorillas in Volcanoes National Park, guided by an experienced ranger. Alternatively, engage in activities like an early morning hike to Mount Bisoke, exploring Crater Lake and the Virunga volcanoes, tracking golden monkeys, or visiting the grave of renowned primatologist Dian Fossey. In the afternoon, consider a walk to Ruhengeri town and the market.
Today, you will drive or fly to Kigali town. Upon arrival, you will have a tour of the capital city and visit the genocide museum. Afterwards, you will depart for the airport and catch your flight back home.
